Please read these terms carefully before ordering. They tell you who we are, how we will supply goods to you, how you and we may change or end the contract, what to do if there is a problem, and other important information. They apply to every order placed with us, whether on this website, by phone or by email.
This website is operated by TSI Workspace Ltd, trading as Workspace Ergonomics. Workspace Ergonomics is the online shop of TSI Workspace, a furniture consultancy established in 1996.
"We", "us" and "our" mean TSI Workspace Ltd trading as Workspace Ergonomics. "You" means the person or business placing an order.
If you tell us at checkout that you are buying on behalf of a business, or you ask us to invoice a business, or you give us a VAT number, we will treat you as a business customer.
Where Part B and Part C differ, the one that applies to you takes priority over Part A. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
Placing an order on this website is an offer to buy, not a completed contract.
Orders placed by phone or email are treated in the same way: your order is an offer, and a contract exists once we have confirmed it in writing.
You confirm that the information you give us when you order is true, accurate, current and complete, so that we and the manufacturer can deliver to the right place and contact you if we need to.
We take care over our product descriptions, images, dimensions and prices, but images are for illustration. The colour of a product on your screen depends on your screen, and photographs may not truly reflect a colour or finish. Where an image shows a product in a workplace or home setting it may include other items that are not part of what is being sold. If in doubt, ask us before you order. Samples of fabrics and finishes can be supplied on request.
Wood grains, fabric weaves and finishes vary naturally between batches. Slight variation is not a fault.
Dimensions and specifications come from the manufacturers and are a guide. If a measurement is critical to your space, or you need to know whether a product will fit through a door or up a staircase, confirm it with us before you order.
Some products need a small amount of self-assembly. The product page tells you where this applies.
Some products are made by the manufacturer after you order. Where that affects delivery, the delivery options at checkout show the lead time.
We may make minor changes to a product to reflect changes in law, safety requirements or a manufacturer's specification, where these do not materially affect your use of it. We may withdraw a product from sale at any time.
All prices are in pounds sterling.
Prices on this website include VAT at the current UK rate. We also show the price excluding VAT alongside, for business customers who account for VAT, but the price you pay is the price including VAT. VAT is itemised at the checkout and on your order confirmation. If the rate of VAT changes between the date of your order and the date the goods are supplied, we will adjust the VAT you pay unless you have already paid in full.
Some items are delivered free of charge and others carry a small delivery charge set by the manufacturer. Any delivery charge is shown at the checkout, including VAT, before you pay. Our Delivery and installation page explains how delivery works.
Payment is taken in full when you place your order, at the point you complete the checkout, by our payment provider using the payment methods shown there. Your card details go directly to the payment provider and are not seen or stored by us. [CONFIRM WITH TIM: payment providers and methods at launch, e.g. Orbit Payments (Stripe), PayPal. The previous site listed Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Visa Delta, Apple Pay, PayPal and Klarna]
It is always possible that, despite our best efforts, a product is mispriced. If the correct price at the date of your order is higher than the price stated, we will contact you before the goods are dispatched and you may confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it for a full refund. We will not supply at the wrong price without telling you.
We deliver within the United Kingdom only. Our standard delivery service does not cover the Highlands, islands, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Isle of Wight or the Channel Islands. If you would like goods delivered to one of those areas, contact us for a quote before you order.
Every item is couriered directly from the manufacturer and is normally received within 5 working days of your order. The manufacturer's courier will contact you to arrange delivery and, where available, will give you tracking details. Delivery is to the main access point of your building at ground-floor level. The courier will not carry goods upstairs or into a particular room, and will not unpack or assemble them.
Full details, including what to do if something arrives damaged, are on our Delivery and installation page, which forms part of these terms.
If nobody is available to take an agreed delivery, or the courier cannot get access, the delivery may have to be rebooked and the manufacturer's courier may charge for the second attempt. Where we can, we will tell you the charge before it is incurred.
Installation is available on products from the Dynamic Office Solutions range. Where it is offered, it appears as a delivery option at checkout with its price shown before you pay. We do not currently offer installation on our other brands.
Please check your delivery when it arrives. If anything is damaged or missing, contact us within 24 hours of delivery at sales@workspace-ergonomics.co.uk with your order number, a description of the problem and detailed photos. Damage is rectified by the manufacturer at their discretion, which typically means sending replacement parts rather than a whole new product, so that you are back up and running as quickly as possible.
If you are a consumer, telling us later than 24 hours does not take away your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, but it does make it harder to show that the damage happened before delivery, so please tell us as soon as you can.
Your rights to cancel and return differ depending on whether you are a consumer or a business customer, and are set out in full on our Returns and refunds page, which forms part of these terms.
Because our products are bespoke or delivered directly from the manufacturer, we do not accept unwanted goods back except where they arrived damaged. The one exception is a consumer exercising the 14-day cancellation right described in Part B on standard stocked goods. Goods made to your specification are not returnable unless they are faulty or not as described.
All goods come with the manufacturer's warranty for that product. The warranty is fulfilled by the manufacturer, and the period and cover depend on the product, so ask us if you would like to know the warranty on a particular item before you order. Warranty claims are typically handled on a replacement part basis. The warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, negligence, misuse, or failure to follow assembly and care instructions.
If you need to make a claim, contact us first. We will give you the information you need to claim under the manufacturer's warranty and help you through it.
If you are a consumer, the warranty is in addition to your legal rights, not instead of them.
Neither of us is responsible for failing to perform, or for delay in performing, any obligation under the contract where that is caused by an event outside our reasonable control. This includes extreme weather, fire, flood, industrial action, failure of transport networks, manufacturer or supplier failure, shortage of materials and acts of government.
If such an event occurs we will contact you as soon as we can, and where the delay is substantial either of us may end the contract and we will refund you for goods not supplied.

If you break these rules we may suspend or withdraw your access.
If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity on your account. Use a strong password and do not reuse it on other websites. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has used your account.
Please keep your account details, including your email address, phone number and delivery address, accurate and up to date so that we and the manufacturer's courier can fulfil your orders and contact you.

Manufacturer brand names and product images remain the property of their owners and are used to describe the products we sell.
If we prepare a quotation, space plan or drawing for you, it remains our property and is provided for your own use in deciding whether to order from us. Please do not pass it to another supplier or use it for another purpose without our agreement.
This website may link to third party websites and may include material provided by third parties. We do not control these and are not responsible for their content, accuracy or privacy practices. Please read their terms before using them.
We use your personal information as set out in our Privacy policy. Card payments are taken by our payment provider and your card details are not seen or stored by us.
If you have a complaint, email sales@workspace-ergonomics.co.uk marking your message "Complaint", or call 0333 366 0174. We will acknowledge it, tell you who is dealing with it and keep you informed until it is resolved. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 2 working days and to resolve them within 14 days.
Consumers can get free, impartial advice from Citizens Advice on 0808 223 1133 or at citizensadvice.org.uk.
We may change these terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in law or in how we operate. The version that applies to your order is the version published on this page at the time you place it, so please save or print a copy when you order.
Changes do not apply retrospectively to contracts already formed.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and you and we both agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts and you benefit from any mandatory consumer protection law of your home jurisdiction.
Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights. In particular:
Summaries of your rights are available from Citizens Advice.
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking this contract or of our failing to use reasonable care and skill. Loss or damage is foreseeable if it is obvious that it will happen, or if at the time the contract was made both of us knew it might happen.
We do not exclude or limit our liability to you in any way where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes our liability for:
We are not responsible for losses arising from your use of the goods for a business purpose. We have no liability to you for loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of business opportunity.
You may end the contract at any time before delivery if we have told you about an error in the price or description and you do not wish to proceed, if there is a risk that supply will be significantly delayed by events outside our control, or if we have breached the contract in any material way. In each case we will refund you in full.
We may end the contract if you do not, within a reasonable time, allow the manufacturer's courier to deliver the goods, or if you give us delivery or contact details that turn out to be false.
This part applies where you are buying in the course of a trade, business, craft or profession. The consumer protections in Part B do not apply to you, including the 14-day cancellation right.
You confirm that you have authority to bind the business on whose behalf you order.
These terms apply to the exclusion of any other terms that you seek to impose or incorporate, including anything printed on your purchase order or in your own conditions of purchase.
Any quotation we give is valid for the period stated on it and is subject to availability at the time you order.
Risk in the goods passes to you on completion of delivery to the main access point of your building. Title does not pass until we have received payment in full.
Delivery dates given for business orders are estimates. Time of delivery is not of the essence unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.
You must inspect the goods on delivery and notify us of any damage, shortage or obvious defect in writing, with photos, within 24 hours of delivery. If you do not, the goods are deemed accepted and we will not be able to raise a claim with the manufacturer or their courier on your behalf.
You must provide safe, clear and reasonable access for delivery, including a route from the vehicle to the main access point of your building, and someone to receive the goods. Where delivery cannot be completed because access details you gave us were inaccurate, the site was not ready or nobody was available, you are liable for the manufacturer's or courier's reasonable costs of the abortive visit and of re-attendance.
Because our products are bespoke or delivered directly from the manufacturer, we do not accept returns, replacements, refunds or exchanges of unwanted goods. The only exception is goods that arrive damaged, which are dealt with under clause 7 and on our Returns and refunds page.
It is your responsibility to check before ordering that the goods will fit the intended space and can be got into the premises, including through doors, corridors, stairways and lifts, and to check colours and finishes rather than relying on on-screen images. Samples of fabrics and finishes can be supplied on request. All sizes and measurements are approximate and finished goods can vary slightly in dimension.
Payment is taken in full at the point of order, when you complete the checkout. We do not offer credit accounts or invoiced payment terms through this website.
If we have agreed credit terms with you in writing separately, payment is due within the period stated on our invoice. We may charge interest on overdue sums under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998, and where we have to instruct a third party to recover payment you are liable for our reasonable third party and internal recovery costs in addition to any court and enforcement fees. You may not withhold or set off any amount against sums due to us.
Title to the goods remains with us until we have received payment in full. Until then you must keep the goods properly stored, protected and insured, and we may repossess them. You grant us permission to enter the premises where they are held in order to collect them.
We warrant that on delivery the goods will conform in all material respects with their specification and will be free from material defects in material and workmanship. Beyond that, the goods carry the manufacturer's warranty for that product, which is fulfilled by the manufacturer and depends on the product. Ask us before you order if you need to know the warranty on a particular item.
Warranty claims are typically handled on a replacement part basis. The warranty does not cover fair wear and tear, wilful damage, negligence, abnormal working conditions, failure to follow assembly or care instructions, or alteration or repair carried out without the manufacturer's approval.
If a valid warranty claim is made, the manufacturer will, at its option, repair or replace the goods or the affected part, or we will refund the price. This is our only liability for goods not conforming with the warranty.
This clause limits our liability to business customers. Please read it carefully.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for breach of the terms implied by section 12 of the Sale of Goods Act 1979, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Subject to that:
We may end the contract with immediate effect by written notice if you fail to pay any amount when due, if you commit a material breach and do not remedy it within 14 days of being asked, or if you become insolvent, enter administration or liquidation, or cease trading.
