CPU holders lift a computer off the floor and tuck it under the desk, away from feet and vacuum cleaners. The range runs from the Metalicon C7 micro and C4 mini holders up to the C3 large and C6 universal models, plus the Colebrook Bosson Saunders Loop and Jaw holders and a thin client mount. Dynamic Office Solutions adds a universal strap PC holder and the Impulse PC holder.
How to choose a CPU holder
Start with the machine, then think about how you will reach it.
- Measure the width, depth and height of the computer, since each Metalicon holder is sized for a different case.
- Small form factor and thin client machines need a compact mount rather than a full holder.
- If you plug in cables often, choose a holder with the C9 slide and turn adjuster so the unit slides out and turns for access.
- On a sit-stand desk, fix the holder to the underside of the top so the computer rises and falls with it.
For offices, IT teams and home desks
IT and facilities teams fitting out banks of desks tend to standardise on one holder and order in quantity, and we can price a full floor. Designers can specify Colebrook Bosson Saunders mounts to sit with the same brand of monitor arm. A home worker with a tower PC under a small desk will usually want a single Metalicon holder, ordered online with the ex VAT price shown alongside.
Delivery is to the UK mainland, direct from the manufacturer. For bulk pricing on a project, go through trade and quotes. To finish the underside of the desk, see our cable management range.
